Traveling to Amsterdam is a treat because there is so much history that the city has to offer. However, when you are traveling, hotels can feel very cold and simply do not have the homey feel that a home does. This is why if you are heading to Amsterdam, renting a holiday house such as this one not only makes sense, but it is a way for you to enjoy all that the city has to offer.
This is a luxurious three storey house with two bedrooms,that can accommodate up to four adults. The property is in the Kerkstraat, which is a very quiet street, but you will be located in the city's center, right next one of the most popular shopping streets, Leidsestraat. This allows you to do some shopping, and find local diners. This is a renovated 19th century house, filled with very modern and luxury furnishings.
The first thing you will notice when you walk in is the beautiful hardwood floors and the many windows along with the white paint, which makes the house very welcoming. There is a large screen plasma television in the living room, a sofa that can be folded into a bed, and a music system. Off the living room is a small dining room with a table and four chairs, along with a library and a collection of books for your enjoyment.
The kitchen, located also on the first floor, is large and luxurious with a full-sized gas stove, oven, two refrigerators, toaster, water cooker, and it is decorated very modern so you can cook in style. All your cookware is also provided for your convenience.
There are three bathrooms, with the first one in the hallway toward the dining area that also has a washing machine in the closet. This vacation rental has three floors with the master bedroom on the second floor and the second bedroom on the third floor, underneath the stairway, is a closet to hang your coats.
The second floor is the master bedroom with one large mattress along with two single duvets. There are bedside tables, lamps, and there is storage to place all your belongings. You will also find dim lighting controls throughout the house home to have just the right amount of lighting in the evenings.
The bathroom on the second floor has shower and tub combination with floor heat and an electric mirror. When you go up to the third level, you have the second bedroom that has one large bed and two single duvets, side tables, lamps, and a closet to hang your clothing. In the second bedroom has also a bathroom with a stand up shower and basin.
**Smoking is not allowed inside the property. It is allowed only on the roof terrace**
**There is public parking under the Olympic Stadium**
Included in your stay is central heating, free wireless Internet access, two different flat screen televisions, a DVD player, fresh towels, fresh bed linens, and pillows. The electricity you use as well as the gas is also included.
