I have stayed in Amsterdam over 100 times, and
this was by far the best Amsterdam experience I
have had so far. The reason is 3 fold, the
property owner Joanna went above and beyond and
picked us up from the airport and drove us
directly to her apartment, this was before giving
us a guided tour in the car of the local area.
The second reason was the immaculate and very
homely feeling apartment, it felt like we were
living in our own place. We had full kitchen
facilities, which we made use of, a balcony, a
very comfortable living room with comfy sofas,
TV, DVD, Stereo and much much more. Also,
everything was very local to us, a super market,
coffee shop, bus stops and a direct tram directly
to the centre of Amsterdam in 20 minutes.
Superb, and highly recommended!!

I was very pleased with everything I found at the apartment and the greeter joanna was a excellent host she aviced me on everything I could want and need.the apartment is a bit further out than i normally stay but only a 5 min walk to tram then 10 min tram ride to leidsplein so very convient. I would deffently stay there again on my next trip.

Appartamentino proprio nel centro di leidsplein, vicinissimo alla piazza dei musei, al vondelpark e all'heineken! la casa è circondata da locali e ristorantini, il supermarket e il coffee shop sono sotto casa, il noleggio delle biciclette è a 2 minuti a piedi! insomma la posizione è invidiabile, l'appartamento è piccolino ma comodo, il bagno un po' stretto, ma nel complesso è perfetto per una vacanza con gli amici! voto 9

Apartment was great! Minor complaint was I couldn't figure out the TV remote (no big deal!) and there was no dish washing detergent. Other than that the people who rented it were very helpful. I would rent this again.

The apartment was lovely, good space for the 4
of us. Located on the 4th floor, nice views,
large balcony and living space. location was close to a few museums, the flea market, short walk to Rembrantplein,
bars and restarants, but in a nice residential
area with handy local amenities e.g. supermarket, wine shop.

Overall very pleased with the flat and would be
happy to stay there again!

This place was fantastic! It's perfectly centralized and was incredibly close to everything. The map is a bit decieving as it appears the location is a bit outside of the downtown. Don't be fooled, it's right in the perfect location. Compared to hotel prices in the area, and the location and size of the flat, it was a great deal. Normally I go cheap, cheap, cheap, but occationally will splurge for something a bit more. This was one of those times and I didn't regret it for a minute. Definately highly recommend this place. Can't say enough about the friendly, clean, convenience.

We found the Old Masters Apartment to be very spacious for 4 people (can sleep up to 6).

Upon arrival, everything was clean with beds made. Our contact met us outside the apartment on time and gave us a good walkaround and advised us of some events taking place. Very friendly & helpful.

The apartment is approx 30 minutes walk from Central Station, and is very close to tram links. A 10 minute walk in either direction leads you to two of the main town squares, so it's close to bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, but also in a quiet location so you don't get disturbed easily.

I would recommend the apartment to anyone and would happily stay there when I next visit Amsterdam.

CLIMA:

VIAJANDO POR ÁMSTERDAM

Deambulando por Ámsterdam, probablemente tu querrás una bicicleta,ya que es muy agradable pasear en bicicleta por la ciudad y es una forma muy segura de llegar a donde lo necesitas. Conducir un vehiculo por la ciudad es difícil y el parqueo es costoso, por lo que es mejor montar en bicicleta o probar el trasporte público. Allí encontrarás líneas de tren, así como los taxis y autobuses de agua.

ÁREAS DE ÁMSTERDAM

El área más vieja de Ámsterdam es llamada de Wallen y esta justo al este de Damrak. Esta área se encuentra en el distrito de luz roja. Un poco al sur se encuentra el área judía de Waterlooplein. El corazón de la ciudad está encerrado por canales concéntricos. Allí está el museo central de Museumplein, el parque del siglo XIX, Condel park y la plantación en donde se encuentra el zoológico.

TURISMO Y COSAS PARA HACER EN ÁMSTERDAM.

Ámsterdam se encuentra posicionado como el quinto destino turístico más popular en Europa. Lo cual no es sorprendente ya que allí se encuentran los canales históricos, varios museos, el distrito de la luz roja y los café-cannabis. A lo largo del año, la ciudad también desarrolla varios festivales que atraen increíbles multitudes.

Existen muchos museos, la mayoría ubicados en Museumplein Cantradfo aquí se encuentra el museo Van Gogh y el Rijksmuseum. Esta área tambien hospeda una gran cantidad de festivales a lo largo del año. Entre los festivales más destacados se encuentran: Koninginnedag, Amsterdam Gay pride y Uitmarkt.

Hacer compras en Ámsterdam es increíble. Existen muchas opciones desde grandes tiendas por departamentos hasta pintorescas tiendas. El punto máximo de las compras se encuentra en Pieter Coneslizz Hoofstraat y Cornelis Schuytstraat, cerca de Vondelpark. Otro gran lugar en Kalverstraat, en el centro de la ciudad. Tiendas pequeñas y privadas se encuentran en Negen Straatjes, también abren mercados al aire libre en la ciudad, llamados Albert Cuypmarkt y Westernmarkt.

Cuando visites Ámsterdam es importante experimentar el mundo de la vida nocturna de los famosos. Los dos clubes nocturnos mas importantes son Leidseplein y Rembrandtplein.

Finalmente, el distrito de la luz roja es un lugar muy popular. Esta área ha legalizado la prostitución y las que viajan por carretera lo largo del distrito. Allí hay un número de tiendas, teatros y museos en ésta área. También hay muchos café- cannabis.

Cuando visites Ámsterdam encontrarás muchos lugares en donde hospedarte Al encontrar alojamiento en Ámsterdam no es difícil. Los hoteles, generalmente ofrecen arreglos especiales durante los periodos de temporada baja. Aquí también encontrarás 4 zonas de camping en los alrededores de la ciudad que ofrecen sitios para pasar la noche.
