We had a fab time, The accomidation has been the best we have ever stayed in. very clean and Central for everything. It also has an amazing view of all Dam square. The owners were very helpfull and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will use this accomidation again.

Gay Amsterdam

Are you planning on traveling to Amsterdam soon and are wondering where all the gay hot spots are? No problem! I'll be more than happy to help you with that!

If you're looking for a great place to stay during your stay in Amsterdam, look no further than Hotel the Golden Bear! It's located on one of the main gay streets and is the first hotel in Amsterdam exclusively for gays! Also, they offer a free breakfast every morning during your stay there which is always a plus. If you're looking for a little S&M fun, you may want to check out Black Tulip which is a gay hotel that offers S&M and other fun "toys" in most of their rooms.

Speaking of "toys", Black Body and Mister B are just two of many shops in the area that offer a wide assortment of erotic toys and many other items. If you enjoy reading, Vrolijk is a gay bookstore there that offers magazines, books, souvenirs and much more!

If you enjoy the nightclub/party scene, there are tons of fun places to choose from in Amsterdam! Exit is a big club that is especially popular with the younger guys, in particular Asians. Trut is a very popular gay disco club. This is a good place to go to get cheap drinks. However, because it's such a popular place and because there's a somewhat limited amount of space there, be sure to arrive early! Into the leather and rubber scene? If so, you'll definitely want to check out Argos Bar which is Amsterdam's oldest leather bar.

On the flip side, if you're looking for a little rest and relaxation, check out Thermos Sauna which is a huge sauna for gays that is open both day and night. Of course, you'll need to eat while you're there. You're in luck as there are many great gay and/or gay friendly restaurants in Amsterdam to choose from! For starters, Sluisje is a fun restaurant to go to as they have drag shows there during dinner time. If you're in the mood for Italian, be sure to check out Saturino's. Are you looking for a new and trendy place? If so, then Arc is the place to go! Arc is a restaurant during the day and then at nighttime it turns into a really cool gay bar!
