Located in the oldest part of Amsterdam´s city centre in Nieuw Markt on a quiet street between two canals, this funky studio apartment is inside a historic building that has recently been renovated in a New York loft style with a modern-retro designer feel.

Sleek lines, quality furniture and plenty of natural sunlight make this apartment a fantastic place to stay when you´re not out enjoying Amsterdam city attractions. No doubt, you´ll also enjoy relaxing in your own private outdoor terrace with a garden. A quiet escape from the excitement of the city.

Fully equipped for two people, this apartment has a double bed, teak lounge, television and DVD player. The kitchen is modern, with everything you need to cook in the apartment including kitchenware, pots, pans and utensils, microwave oven, kettle and coffee maker.

The bathroom is fitted out with modern fixtures and includes a shower, basin and toilet. All bed linen and towels are supplied for you.

"I spent only my nights at the apartment as I traveled to Amsterdam for work but during these few hours I felt really nice and comfortable. Big cosy bed, nice environment, a very friendly and helpful owner (thanks for the amazing fresh coffee, Frits!) and fast Internet connection. Fritz the owner is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent for all of the city centre venues. We had a very pleasant stay and would book again without hesitation.

"Estuve tres días de octubre en el apartamento New York de Amsterdam y fue una experiencia bastante agradable. El apartamento está muy bien ubicado, en pleno Barrio Rojo, aunque apartado del ruido. Muy cerca de la estación de metro y de tren. Aunque es pequeñito tiene todo lo imprescindible. Está limpio y es confortable. La temperatura dentro del apartamento era muy agradable, no pasamos nada de frío. Frits, el propietario, es una persona muy amable que se preocupó de que todo estuviera en orden."

"This apartment was fantastic! Classy, clean and everything that you would need for 2 people. Location was perfect, so near Dam Square, it is in the Red Light District but down a little alley so you're not next door or anything. I would definitely stay here again, Frits was really nice and helpful with directions."

The owner was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable with everything you require. Within walking distance of central station and city attractions, could be noisy at night but worth it as it's in a great central location, very close to good bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and rent again.

"Hi I was unable to complete the above 1 - 5 as when I highlighted one the previous one went off. However: Location 5 Security 4 Staff 5 Features 4 Cleanliness 5 My wife and I were suprised at the standard of this apartment which although small met our needs wonderfully. "The apartment was lovely with a very comfortable bed and perfect to use as a base. It is in the red light district so very central, although this did mean it could be a little noisy at night. But not a major problem. Coffee and tea were provided which was a nice touch. I would definitely reccomend the apartment for couples having a short break in Amsterdam."

"Very nice apartment, fairly small apartment but for 2 people enough room. Struggled to find the apartment so got a taxi from central station, but once you've located the apartment it's close enough to everything, very good location if you want to be in/near red light. And the apartment owner (Fritz) was possibly the best dutch person I met friendly, slightly eccentric and funny. Would definitely recommend this apartment."
